We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in the Barry area. This is a temporary full-time role, with working hours of 08:45 to 15:45, Monday to Friday.This role is ideal for someone confident working across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, who enjoys variety and working in a team-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Support Breakfast Club each morning from 07:45Provide in-class support to teachers across a variety of year groupsWork 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to support learningHelp prepare classroom resources and support day-to-day classroom routinesSupervise pupils during break and lunchtimesPromote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentMinimum Requirements:At least 3 months'' experience working with children in a school or childcare settingEnhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning - desirable)Ability to work flexibly across different age groupsTwo professional references
