They are now looking for a skilled Design Technician with hands-on timber experience to support their expanding project portfolio.As a Design Technician, you will:Develop detailed timber structural and connection designs in collaboration with Project Managers and the Design DirectorProduce accurate 3D models of timber structures, connections, and interface detailsPrepare 2D drawings across all project stages - including arrangement, detail, fabrication, and installation drawingsGenerate fabrication information, including CADCAM files, working closely with manufacturing partners Prepare schedules, drawing lists, drawing issue sets, and supporting specification documentsCheck and quality-control internal and third-party design and fabrication informationContribute to the continuous improvement of internal design standards, templates, and guidesWhat we''re looking for:3+ years'' experience in specialist timber designStrong understanding of timber fabrication processes and the international timber industryKnowledge of contemporary timber construction detailing and buildabilityFamiliarity with design quality management and document control proceduresRequired software experience: CadworkPreferred
