Emergency Response Staffing are looking for Healthcare Assistant to cover Ad-hoc shifts in Kent If you are looking for flexible work based around your availability, then apply now!Key Responsibilities:Delivering care plans for patients and ability to work efficiently within a busy general ward/departmentMonitoring vital signsObserving patient''s condition and recording informationCommunicating with patients and their familiesSupporting with personal care, comfort and dignity Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns to senior staffWorking collaboratively with the day and night team to ensure a safe, calm environmentworking in a nursing home supporting residents with dementia, palliative care, stroke and complex care needs Essential Qualifications and Experience:Care Certificate, Health and Social Care Certificate or equivalentAt least 6 month''s experience working in NHS hospital, nursing home, care home and hospice supporting residents with dementia, palliative care, stroke and complex care needs within the UK.A caring, reliable and patient approach Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in patient care.Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy towards patients'' experiences.Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining patient records and accessing medical information.right to work in
