Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Wallasey

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Wallasey, supporting a Year 1 class.

This is a full-time role for someone who enjoys working with younger children and is confident supporting their learning, development and day-to-day classroom routines.

The role:

• Year 1 Teaching Assistant
• Wallasey
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Start date: October 2026
• Initial contract until Christmas, with potential for extension
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team

Previous experience working within KS1 or primary education is desirable. The school is looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
