• Pay: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
• Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

 
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ scientific knowledge, understanding and practical skills.
 
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Science
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
• Have experience teaching, or be training to teach, across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
• Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues

 
The School
You will be joining a secondary school in Wolverhampton, working as part of the Science department and wider teaching team.
 
This long-term supply opportunity provides a chance to contribute to students’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
