The company is looking for a newly-qualified Accountant to join their collaborative finance team as soon as possible for a period of 18-24 months. Working closely with the Group Financial Accountant, the role will involve working on all management and financial accounting activities.WHAT WILL YOU DO: Prepare monthly group management accounts and reports for the Board and Executive CommitteePrepare and review monthly Group consolidationPrepare the monthly IFRS management reporting for selected entities in the group, and prepare local GAAP statutory accountsPrepare and review monthly cost centres'' PandL''s actuals versus budget reports and full year forecastingPrepare and review monthly audit files reconciling all balance sheet amounts to supporting documentation, highlighting any risks to senior managementManage and prepare all statutory financial statements ensuring that all submissions are on time, accurate and compliantSupport the preparation of the various VAT reportingLiaise with the auditors ensuring smooth audit processContinually review the financial controls of the business ensuring they are fit for purposeSupport other financial control and reporting initiatives as required WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE: Educated to bachelor degree
