Role - Power Press Operative Location - Bradford Shifts - 6am-2pm/2pm -10pm/10pm-6am (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS)Pay - 13.49 for Double days 25% uplift for nights Start - ASAP Typical Responsibilities will include:Working on Power Presses up to 40 tonnesInstallation of tooling, setting of the Power Presses and ancillary equipment in line with SMED principlesCarrying out quality control procedures and keeping accurate records of measurementsIdentifying non-conforming parts and instigating product isolation procedures when necessaryTrace and correct running faults on the Power PressReporting breakdown and/or maintenance issues to the Production Management teamPackaging and storage of finished productsMaintaining housekeeping standards and organising/participating in the timely removal of scrapKnowledge, skills, and experience required:Experience working with Power Presses in a high-volume manufacturing environmentConversant with using measuring equipmentGood level of literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamGood eye for detailDesirable Qualifications - (willing to train the right candidate)FLT counterbalancePUWER Power Press CertificateWhat are we Offering? 5 hours per weekRotating 3 shift pattern 6am - 2pm 2pm - 10pm10pm - 6am32 Days Paid Holidays Per Year (inclusive of Statutory)Competitive SalaryCompany Sick Pay Thrive Group is acting as a recruitment business on this role.
