Vehicle Technician
This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, organisation, and communication skills to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient workshop operations. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) Accurately tracking workshop time per vehicle Managing workshop stock and inventory Ensuring COSHH compliance, cleanliness, and security Booking and coordinating MOTs Providing technical support to operational teams on vehicle and equipment issues Key Requirements: Extensive experience as an HGV Fitter / Mechanic Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Confident using hand tools and power tools Solid mechanical knowledge across engines and vehicle systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Pay and Benefits £16.75 £21.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Full-time, permanent position after 13 weeks on assignment Company pension scheme On-site role with consistent hours and workload Interested?
