I''m currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Peterborough.

This is a hands-on maintenance role where you''ll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and helping minimise downtime across the site.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives and control systems

• Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns

• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime

• Work closely with production and engineering teams

• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects

• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to site standards

• Electrical bias maintenance background

• Ideally Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification

• Previous experience working within FMCG, food, packaging or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment

• Strong fault-finding ability

• Comfortable working on both electrical and mechanical equipment

• Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters/drives etc.

• Happy working a rotating 3-shift pattern

• -45,000 - -50,000 salary
