HR Advisor
HR People Advisor Initial 3 months, with view to extend £17.90 Per hour Newbury (Hybrid) Your New Role As a HR People Advisor, you will play a key role within thePeople Services team, providing professional HR support andadvice to employees and managers across the organisation. Youwill act as a trusted adviser to managers, helping themunderstand and consistently apply HR policies and procedureswhile supporting a wide range of employee relations and peopleprocesses. Your responsibilities will include advising onsickness absence, managing Occupational Health referrals,supporting flexible working requests and coordinating maternity,paternity, adoption and shared parental leave. You will alsomanage Group Income Protection cases, liaising with employees,managers, Payroll, insurers and external providers. Alongsidethis, you will review and quality-check HR documentation, supportmore complex employee queries and contribute to improving PeopleServices processes and guidance. Ensuring Your Success To be successful in this role, you will have previous experienceacross a broad range of HR operations and employee relations,with a strong understanding of absence management, family leave,flexible working and performance management processes. You willbe confident interpreting HR policies and providing practicaladvice to managers, while being comfortable challenging decisionsconstructively when required.
