Electrical Shift Engineer

Integral UK Ltd . This position is based at one of our static sites in London Bridge and involves providing engineering support across building services, maintaining the building infrastructure, and complying with Health and Safety and building codes.Role and shift pattern

The role operates on a days and nights shift pattern with a continental 12-hour shift cycle.Responsibilities

Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.Act as the Duty Authorised Person (Pressure) if required.Issue relevant site permits as part of the Safe System of Work.Complete PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.Ensure daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects via the Landlord helpdesk.Identify materials required and raise internal Materials Request Forms.Comply with statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.Record statutory inspections (fire, access equipment, water hygiene) within designated folders.Ensure Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off, inspect the quality of work, and escalate recommendations to the Contract Delivery Manager.Maintain high standards of housekeeping in plant areas, workshops, stores, and changing/rest areas.Operate and troubleshoot Building Management Systems and associated building services listed below as applicable:Building Management Systems and electrical monitoringBlind Control systemAir handling, air conditioning and terminal units (VAV/CRAC)Window Vent SystemsCooling tower plantDomestic water servicesFire prevention and detection systemsSprinklers and wet risersFire alarm and voice alarmVESDAFire suppressionVariable speed drivesGenerators, load banks and controlsAC, DC single phase and three phase motorsUPS systems, batteries, static switches, and associated controlsEmergency lightingHigh and Low voltage switch panels and associated breakersSkills

Approved apprenticeship or relevant experience within Building Services.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and customers at all levels.Formal qualification in mechanical engineering.Experience as an end user of a Building Management System.Intermediate computer literacy (Windows Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with experience in report writing.Qualifications

Previous or current Pressure Systems Authorised Person.CandG or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.HND/HNC Qualified.Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices.Personal Attributes
