About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation. Available shifts are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

Working within a frozen storage environment, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, booking in goods, moving and storing pallets, replenishing stock and supporting order picking and dispatch activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role that requires a strong focus on health and safety, accuracy, teamwork and productivity. You will also be expected to provide cover across other warehouse and material supply duties when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, book in and store incoming deliveries accurately.
• Operate a reach truck to move, stack, pick and replenish stock.
• Maintain stock accuracy, rotation and product traceability.
• Support order picking, dispatch and weekly stock takes.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any defects.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and safety.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and system updates accurately.
• Report damages, discrepancies, hazards and near misses.
• Work as part of a team and provide cover for other warehouse duties when required.
• Follow all health and safety, food safety and operational procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• A valid Reach Truck licence (RTITB or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a reach truck, ideally within a high-bay racking environment.
• Previous warehouse or supply chain experience.
• Experience working in a chilled or frozen storage environment would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining stock accuracy.
• Ability to work safely at height and within narrow warehouse aisles.
• Basic IT skills and the ability to use warehouse management systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• A strong commitment to health and safety and following operational procedures.
