EDM Machinist

We’re looking for an experienced EDM Machinist to join our clients expanding team. This new role has become available as a result of continued business growth and recent investment in the latest EDM machinery.

You’ll be joining a well-established precision engineering company with a reputation for quality and innovation. With a modern workshop environment and a supportive team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-precision work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate EDM machines (wire and/or spark erosion)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
• Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment
• Ensure machines are maintained and work is completed safely and accurately
• Collaborate with colleagues across production and engineering to meet targets

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience operating EDM machines
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and flexible approach
