This is a hands-on position suited to a skilled operative who can deliver high-spec industrial coatings work with minimal supervision on a high-profile site.The RoleYou will carry out industrial blasting and painting works to specification, ensuring quality, safety and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.Essential Experience and SkillsTo be considered, you must have:3-5 years'' proven experience in industrial blasting and paintingStrong experience with shot blastingAirless spray application and brush applicationMixing and applying single-pack and two-pack paint systemsAbility to achieve specified wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT)ICATS or TTP qualifications, including blast and spray ticketsProficiency with airless spray equipment and blasting equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as blast pots and airless spray pumpsA keen eye for detail with a right-first-time attitudeExcellent housekeeping standardsA good understanding of spoken and written EnglishStrong commitment to Health and Safety proceduresDesirable (Not Essential)Manual handling certificationWorking at heights trainingCOSHH awarenessAdditional RequirementsAble to work with minimal supervisionComfortable adapting to a variety of coatings, products and techniquesPhysically fit, as the role includes manual handling and lifti
