This is a pivotal role for an educator ready to guide pupils through their final year of primary school, helping them grow in confidence and prepare for the transition to secondary education.

The Role / Responsibilities:

  Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to Year 6 pupils.

  
  



• 
  

  Support students in reaching end-of-Key-Stage expectations, including SATs preparation.

  
  



• 
  

  Foster a supportive, high-expectation classroom environment that motivates all learners.

  
  



• 
  

  Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching.

  
  



• 
  

  Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Year 6 curriculum and transition programs.

  
  



• 
  

  Maintain open communication with parents/carers about progress and wellbeing.

  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  

  Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification (Unqualified teachers may also be considered).

  
  



• 
  

  Has prior experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2-ideally Year 6.

  
  



• 
  

  Demonstrates a solid understanding of SATs preparation and curriculum expectations.

  
  



• 
  

  Is an enthusiastic, reflective teacher who can inspire older primary learners.

  
  



• 
  

  Possesses excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  
  



• 
  

  Is eligible to work in the UK and can travel reliably to Milton Keynes.
