Has specialist level knowledge gained through significant work experience in a relevant role. What this role is all about:Key Actions Assess Income Protection claims. Attention to detail and compliance are key as you will be adhering to the industry leading claims practice. This will include obtaining medical information, financial information, and any other information relevant to the assessment of the risk on each claim; adhering to the relevant Service Level AgreementDrafting and issuing claims decision letters and other claims related correspondence. This may include communications to Senior members of staff.Liaise with the strategic underwriters, management, reinsurers, and other stakeholders to ensure the swift and correct outcome of a claim.Support team members with best practice techniques, medical practice through knowledge sharing.Follow internal client service practices which build rewarding relationships and enables exceptional client service What you need to thrive A broad experience in assessing and managing IP claims as detailed above.Experience of dealing directly and effectively with the FOS on claims related mattersGood experience of working wit
