This is a key role within the Manufacturing Engineering function, supporting complex, high-precision machining, NPI, and continuous improvement activities in a highly regulated, lean aerospace environment. The Successful CNC Programmer Package: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (DOE) Days, 37.5 hours (Mon- Thurs, 8:00AM to 4:30PM and Friday, 8:00AM to 2:00PM) Overtime available at premium rates Permanent, long-term position Career progression within Manufacturing Engineering Training and development on advanced CNC and CAM technologies Supportive, engineering-led environment The Successful CNC Programmer Requirements: Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines Offline programming using CAM software (Mastercam, Hypermill, Delcam, Catia or similar) Cutting tool selection and optimisation Mould tool and workholding design Creation of machine setup sheets and operator work instructions Validate programs through FAI (internal and external) DFM reviews for new product introductions BOM and routing validation Cycle time reduction and throughput improvement initiatives Working within Lean Manufacturing principles Liaison with tooling and software suppliers to drive CI Training and mentoring junior programmers Ensuring machine and operator safety at all times The Successful C
