An established, employee-owned construction consultancy in Winchester is looking for a Project Manager to join its team following significant recent project wins. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work predominantly across education projects, alongside sports facilities and schemes within other sectors.

The Project Manager will join a close-knit team of around 18 people at an exciting stage of growth, following the securing of approximately -60m of funding across 15 projects. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who wants to take responsibility for their own commissions while working within a collaborative environment. The successful Project Manager will benefit directly from the employee-owned structure, with the team involved in business decisions and typically receiving highly attractive annual bonuses.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager will predominantly deliver education projects, with additional opportunities to work on sports facilities and projects across other sectors.

The Project Manager will manage schemes from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

The Project Manager will chair meetings, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor contractor performance, and maintain strong relationships with clients. With 15 recently secured projects, there is an excellent pipeline of work and the opportunity for the Project Manager to take genuine ownership of project delivery.

The successful Project Manager will have:

• Prior experience within a construction consultancy
• Experience delivering education, sports, public sector, or similar projects
• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
• Experience across pre-contract and post-contract project delivery
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards chartership would be beneficial
• A collaborative and proactive approach
