Interim HR ManagerLocation: Suffolk (Onsite - Manufacturing Environment)Contract: Interim - 2 to 2.5 months (March - mid May/June)Salary: Circa £60,000 pro rataStart Date: March (urgent)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Interim HR Manager to provide short-term cover during a planned absence, while also supporting the business with a backlog of complex employee relations casework.This is a hands-on, onsite role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will need to operate with confidence and autonomy, quickly building credibility with managers and supporting operational stability during a critical period.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the HR function onsite, acting as the primary HR contact for managers and employeesManage and resolve a backlog of employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, investigations)Provide pragmatic, legally compliant advice to line managers in a fast-paced operational settingSupport ongoing absence management and capability processesEnsure consistent application of company policies and UK employment legislationAdvise senior leaders on risk mitigation and best practiceSupport any live recruitment or workforce planning activity as requiredMaintain HR documentation, records and case tracking to ensure complianceAbout YouProven experience as an HR Manager within manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong background in complex ER case managementComfortable working in a standalone or lean HR
