We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a residential children’s home in Surrey, supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the solo placement home.

• Ensure the safety, welfare, and development of the young person in placement.

• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff.

• Manage budgets, resources, and rota planning effectively.

• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies.

• Maintain high-quality care standards, promoting positive outcomes for the young person.

• Implement and oversee therapeutic care approaches within the home.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals.

• Lead on placement planning, risk assessments, and care reviews.

• Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment tailored to individual needs.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and young people with EBD and complex needs

• Must hold NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management 

• Excellent knowledge of:

  • Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015

  • Quality Standards

  • Children Act 2010

• Proven track record of staff management and leadership.

• Ability to work under pressure, with excellent decision-making and safeguarding skills.
