Simon Acres Group are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shift Leader to join our highly successful and well-established client in the Kitchen manufacturing industry. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience and knowledge Key Responsibilities Change Management and Continuous Improvement Champion a proactive culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean principles, tools, and techniques across departments. Ensure effective deployment and rollout of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives in alignment with agreed timelines. Lead weekly Lean review meetings (in the Production Manager''s absence) to identify and drive productivity enhancements using KPIs such as panels/units per FTE. Quality Assurance Lead initiatives to improve process quality, reduce scrap and rework, and decrease the cost of failure in line with defined performance targets. Ensure raw materials meet quality standards upon delivery and drive continuous improvements in product quality. Delivery and Service Performance Achieve and maintain an On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery rate of 99.8% or higher for manufactured goods to the loading bay. Monitor and manage OTIF and quality performance of all inbound raw materials to ensure production continuity and excellence. Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Promote and ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, company policies, and risk management procedures.
