Engineering Operative Rotherham, England £14.00 per hour + night shift allowanceAbout the Role On behalf of our client, we are recruiting Engineering Operatives to join a busy production facility based in Rotherham. This is a full-time, permanent position operating on a rotating shift pattern within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.Shift Patterns: Days: Monday to Thursday 06 00 Friday 06 30 Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 13 00 Friday 12 30 Nights: Monday to Thursday 20 00 Friday 18 00 (Night shift allowance applies) Key Responsibilities Processing computer-generated orders involving repetitive handling and lifting of heavy or large items Accurately recording stock movement and usage Identifying materials and using measuring equipment Operating production and engineering machinery including CNC-controlled equipment Moving materials using forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if required) Supporting production and dispatch activities Working effectively both independently and as part of a team Maintaining high standards of health and safety Being flexible to meet operational requirements Pay and Benefits £14.00 per hour Increase after Trainining Night shift allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Life assurance Cycle to work scheme Employee discount scheme Access to health and wellbeing support Training and development opportunities About You Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environme
