Foot-Mobile Building Services Engineer

We''re looking for an experienced and motivated engineer to take on a key role within a high-profile building, combining hands-on maintenance with team leadership and statutory compliance.

You''ll play an important part in keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring everything is maintained to the highest standards while supporting safe, efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• The Building Services Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on electrical systems and mechanical plant
• The Building Services Engineer will fault-find and repair building services systems, including HV, LV, HVAC, and associated plant
• The Building Services Engineer will undertake minor works including lamping, basic plumbing repairs, and component replacements
• The Building Services Engineer will read and support a team of engineers on site, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, providing day-to-day direction, mentoring, and performance oversight
• The Building Services Engineer will review and complete RAMS, ensuring all works are carried out safely
• The Building Services Engineer will ensure all engineering activities meet statutory and site compliance requirements
• The Building Services Engineer will support incident investigations and implement corrective actions where required
• The Building Services Engineer will act as the main point of contact on site for technical issues and escalations

Requirements

• The Building Services Engineer will have proven experience in an Engineer role within Building Services
• The Building Services Engineer will have strong hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems maintenance
• The Building Services Engineer will have experience carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and fault finding
• The Building Services Engineer will be within a commutable distance of Central London
• The Building Services Engineer will have the ability to lead engineers while remaining actively involved in day-to-day engineering tasks
• The Building Services Engineer will have experience completing and reviewing RAMS
• The Building Services Engineer will have strong client-facing and communication skills
• Building Services Engineer: Up to -50,000 basic + Package
