Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Tax Manager Prepare and submit UK personal tax returns for partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Oversee the end-to-end tax return process, from gathering information to final submission, addressing any issues that arise along the way. Monitor tax liabilities, payments, and filing obligations using HMRC Government Gateway. Utilise tax software, such as Digita, to produce high-quality returns and maintain meticulous attention to detail across a portfolio of partners. Requirements of the Assistant Tax Manager Proven experience in preparing UK personal tax returns, ideally for self-employed individuals or those with complex tax affairs. ATT or CTA qualified, or actively working towards a recognised tax qualification. Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax, with the ability to handle complex issues and work to tight deadlines.
