Location: Site based, United Utilities framework, within 50 miles of Manchester
Salary: Up to andpound;65,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 45 hours per week

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEICA Manager to join a major water framework, delivering mechanical, electrical and ICA works across multiple sites. This is a hands on leadership role overseeing MEICA delivery from design through to commissioning, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

You will manage a small MEICA team, work closely with civil delivery teams and engage with clients, designers and the supply chain to drive quality, value engineering and performance across the framework.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Oversee the delivery of all MEICA activities across multiple water industry projects
andbull; Ensure designs are buildable and challenge proposals through value engineering
andbull; Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical and control systems
andbull; Manage programme, cost, quality and supply chain performance
andbull; Lead health, safety and environmental compliance across all MEICA works
andbull; Coordinate commissioning plans, inspection and test plans
andbull; Manage subcontractors and key suppliers to ensure quality and value for money
andbull; Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
andbull; Support tendering and future work winning activities
andbull; Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification

About You

Essential
andbull; Proven experience managing MEICA works within the water industry
andbull; Background as a MEICA Project Manager or similar delivery focused role
andbull; Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
andbull; Ability to manage multiple projects of varying value and complexity
andbull; Methodical approach with a focus on safety, quality and delivery

Desirable
andbull; Degree, HND or HNC in a relevant discipline
andbull; SMSTS or SSSTS
andbull; CSCS card
andbull; APM membership or equivalent
andbull; First Aid certification
