This long-established manufacturer is a global leader in its industry, supplying high-quality products to customers worldwide. Operating from a highly regulated manufacturing facility, they are committed to engineering excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Due to continued investment across the site, they are now looking for a Project Support Engineer to assist with the delivery of a range of exciting capital and improvement projects.

In this role, you will provide engineering and project support throughout the project lifecycle, assisting with the delivery of plant upgrades, infrastructure improvements, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager and wider site teams to coordinate project activities, support contractors and suppliers, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

This role would therefore suit an individual with an engineering background within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment who is looking to develop their project engineering and management experience within a global organisation.

The Role:

• Supporting engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Assisting with plant upgrades, modifications, and infrastructure improvements
• Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and project activities
• Working closely with operations, maintenance, HSEQ, and R&D teams
• Supporting project planning, documentation, and compliance with COMAH and ATEX
• Identifying opportunities for plant reliability and continuous improvement

• Experience supporting engineering projects
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable using project management tools
• Commutable to Scunthorpe
