Our client located on the Hertfordshire/Essex border are looking to recruit a detail-driven and proactive Risk and Compliance Lawyer from between 2- 6 years experience within a similar role.-

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages-in their career who are looking to establish and build expertise across data protection, AML, regulatory compliance and risk management.-

Key Responsibilities for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role:

• Handling day to day data protection compliance matters
• Managing subject access requests and supporting the response to potential data breaches
• Supporting the firms onboarding processes
• Conducting AML and KYC checks
• Assist with ongoing AML compliance in line with UK regulatory requirements
• Manage and respond to risk queries
• Supporting and drafting responses to client complaints
• File audits
• Compliance reviews

Qualifications and Experience for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role:

• Experience between 2- 6 years within a law firm
• Law degree or equivalent-
• Have attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Willing to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
