Oldham Agency Up to £40 per hour Safeguarding and Care Planning Advanced Practitioner 3 Days in Office Oldham Council is recruiting an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join their Safeguarding and Care Planning Team. This is a key leadership role, offering the chance to influence practice quality, support less experienced staff, and ensure robust safeguarding across complex cases. You ll be expected to work at least 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility around the remaining time. Key Responsibilities: Lead on complex safeguarding and care planning cases Provide guidance, mentoring, and reflective supervision to team members Ensure high standards of assessment, planning, and intervention Liaise with multi-agency professionals to coordinate effective safeguarding responses Support team managers in maintaining quality practice and timely interventions Practice Model: Oldham s safeguarding services are underpinned by strength-based approaches, early permanence planning, and reflective supervision.
