Due to this growth, our client is now seeking to recruit a commercially focused Financial Director to work closely with the business directors, assisting them in taking the business to the next level in line with its 5-year strategy.Responsibilities

Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.Maintain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel.Oversee the external audit and liaise directly with auditors.Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with banks, customers, and suppliers.Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly basis and report directly to the board.Assist with hiring a finance manager/assistant to support you in your role.Ensure the stock system is properly maintained and reporting accurate figures.Conduct analysis to make financial forecasts and cash flows.Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.Manage budgets and forecasts.Requirements and Skills

Proven experience as a director of finance or similar role.In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.Proficient in the use of MS Office and preferably experience with Xero.An analytical mind with strategic abilities.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Contact: 01702 567 302
