Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an established Early Years setting in Islington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking to become part of a welcoming nursery environment where children's learning, development and wellbeing are a priority. The position offers 40 hours per week across 48 working weeks per year, providing a structured working pattern for someone passionate about delivering high-quality Early Years education.
You will be:

Providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play

Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive

Supporting children's individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing

Acting as a key person and developing positive relationships with children and their families

Completing observations, assessments and learning records to monitor children's progress

Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice

Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality Early Years provision

Contributing positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development, alongside excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A clear Enhanced Child DBS will be required for this position.
