We want someone that is passionate about supporting children''s learning and helping them achieve their full potential. You will need a Higher-Level teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification to be in this role or relevant previous experience. You will build positive relationships with pupils and help them overcome barriers to their learning whilst working alongside colleagues and family members to create a positive, inclusive environment where every child can succeed.Implement effective strategies to manage and de- escalate challenging behaviour.Delivering pre planned academic work to classes, ensuring the pupils remain engaged and supported.Be able to record and report on pupils'' progress, behaviours and interventions.Covering classes during teacher absence.The School and Requirements:You could be dealing with children that have various SEND needs so your learning approach needs to be adaptable and can meet the needs of the children. Previous experience in a school setting is essential.
