Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - South East London - September Start - -120150 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in South East London for a full-time role starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HLTA who is confident leading groups, covering lessons, and supporting students across the school.

The Role:
You will be supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers and senior staff to deliver high-quality support to pupils. The role may include leading interventions, covering lessons, and supporting students with SEN needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver small group interventions and targeted support sessions
  • Provide classroom cover where required
  • Support students across a range of abilities and needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • HLTA qualification (Required)
  • Experience working within schools essential
  • Confident leading groups and managing behaviour
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and adaptable approach

The Role Offers:

  • -120150 per day depending on experience
