Description
The key responsibilities for the Head of Marketing Communications role will include:
- Develop and implement marketing communication strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage external agency partners.
- Management of 1 direct report.
- Oversee content creation for various channels, including digital, print and social media.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Lead the planning and execution of campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Supervise and mentor marketing team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines in all communications.
Profile
A successful Head of Marketing Communications should have:
* 5+ years experience in a Marketing leadership role.
* Experience within a professional services environment is essential, including financial services, or legal.
* Previous experience in an accountancy practice is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience managing external marketing agencies.
* Capable of operating in a multi-channel marcomms role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics platforms.
* Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Job Offer
On offer for the successful candidate
- Salary of -60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement - three days in the office, two days from home.
- Permanent position in central Birmingham.
