Job title: Technical Author Client: Tech Firm Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Bonus Experience Level: 2+ Years Location: Near Bracknell (Hybrid) Skills: Technical Authoring, Developers, Jira, Madcap Flare, Documentation My client are looking to add to their Technical Authoring team and take on a knowledgeable Technical Author. You will work closely with the Development team to produce high quality documentation and release notes for customers, as well as a myriad of other activities. The ideal candidate will be happy to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week. Responsibilities: Maintaining and expanding release notes, online resources and other materials Working with Jira Product testing as it applies to creating robust and relevant documentation Writing, reviewing and editing content utilising various tools including Jira, Word, Google Docs and Madcap Flare Maintaining up to date files with version control Providing training where required Core skills required: 2+ years of experience working as a Technical Author Experience working with Development teams/Developers to create precise and thorough release notes Some experience with Jira, Madcap Flare or Azure Desirable skills: JavaScript Google Analytics Agile Github/Version Control Python Please apply ASAP for more information.
