The Role:

Are you looking for a stable, permanent warehouse role with a well-established manufacturing business? We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and supportive team in Chirk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a company where reliability and teamwork are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders from picking lists
• Check product descriptions, quantities and condition
• Pack and label products ready for dispatch
• Carry out routine stock checks and report discrepancies
• Load and unload deliveries safely
• Prepare orders for dispatch to customers
• Move stock using approved handling methods and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Report any stock issues, damaged goods or safety concerns
• Liaise with warehouse, production and office teams to ensure smooth operations

This role involves a reasonable level of physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, bending and handling products throughout the day. Safe working practices and lifting aids are provided where required.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic numeracy skills
• Comfortable working in a physically active role
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Commitment to health and safety procedures

Desirable

• Experience within goods-in, goods-out or stock control
• Previous picking and packing experience
• Experience using pallet trucks or warehouse equipment
