If you have a passion for precision, an eye for compliance, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit import declarations using CDS, CHIEF, and other relevant platforms.Accurately classify goods using the UK Trade Tariff and assign correct commodity codes.Review and verify all import documentation (invoices, packing lists, transport docs, licences, certificates).Liaise with HMRC, Port Health, and other authorities to resolve customs clearance queries.Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, incoterms, and import controls.Maintain meticulous records and support audit processes when required.Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure the timely release of goods.What We''re Looking For3+ years of experience in full road import clearance.In-depth knowledge of UK and EU customs procedures.Proficient in CDS/CHIEF or similar customs declaration software.Strong understanding of incoterms and international trade practices.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Able to work under press
