HGV HIAB Driver - Thurrock

Salary: £38K per year + overtime at time and a half
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HGV HIAB Driver to join their team in Thurrock. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, and collection of modular buildings and containers to various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV vehicles equipped with HIAB cranes
• Load and unload modular units using the HIAB crane
• Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer locations
• Ensure full compliance with road safety and transport regulations
• Accurately complete all delivery and collection paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
• Report any vehicle defects promptly
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations

What You''ll Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver Licence with proven HIAB operating experience
• Qualified lorry loader operator certification (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential
• Strong knowledge of EU driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive, and tachograph rules
• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service
