Business Development Manager

A leading cable distributor is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to build and manage relationships with B2B customers across the South of England. Covering the area south of Birmingham, this is a largely remote and field-based role that will involve building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth across the Southern half of the UK.The company you''ll be joining specialises in the supply, management, and distribution of electrical cables across the UK and belongs to an impressive 1 billion distribution group. They offer a range of solutions including fixed wiring, energy cables, and industrial flexible cables to customers in the electrical wholesale, construction, and industrial sectors.Role ResponsibilitiesAs an Business Development Manager, you will:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customersIdentify and develop new business opportunitiesProvide expert advice on our product range, tailoring solutions to meet customer needsRegularly visit customers across the region, providing support, gathering feedback, and driving salesWork collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service deliveryAchieve and exceed sales targetsManage appointments and daily schedule effectively to optimise time and coverageRewardsYou will receive:A starting salary between 40,000 - 45,000Uncapped performance-related bonusCompany carHybrid workingPaid expenses for travel and other work
