A newly established charity is urgently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join its team on a contract running until July 2027. This role offers hybrid working, with regular office attendance required in North London. This is a broad, hands-on position within a start-up environment, where the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while helping to establish effective processes, controls and ways of working. The key responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager are: Taking ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Managing accounts payable, including supplier invoices, expenses and payment runs. Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting records. Leading month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and the preparation of management accounts. Monitoring cash flow and supporting the development of financial forecasts and budgets.
