The Artisan Recruitment Group are looking for a Fitter/Mechanical Engineer in the Marine Industry for a contracator in Fareham area. Working for a family run buisness, ideal candidate will be looking for a long time career with a view of going on direct. Canidates must have: Level 3 in engineering (NVQ or similar) Have minimum of 5-year experience Driving License (or on route to getting it) Over the age of 21 Able to pass SC clearance Positive: Refits Propulsion (e.g removal and refit of shaft, couplands, propellers and bearings Overhaul valves Happy to work weekends within reason Think outside the box mentality Positive attitude. Able to take responsibility and report back to line manger Happy to learn to weld as they might be needed on the welding side.
