This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bank Teaching Assistant who is looking for flexible work and the ability to choose from a variety of available shifts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across different primary school settings, supporting children aged 4-11 and gaining experience across different year groups.

The Role - Bank Teaching Assistant

The successful Bank Teaching Assistant will:

• Work on a flexible, zero-hours basis across primary schools in Wandsworth.

• Choose from a variety of available shifts depending on availability.

• Support children aged 4-11 across different year groups.

• Assist class teachers with day-to-day classroom activities.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.

• Support children with special educational needs and additional learning needs.

• Help pupils access learning and participate fully in school activities.

• Assist with interventions, classroom activities and general learning support.

• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.

• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom requirements.

• Has previous school-based experience working with children.

• Is comfortable working with children aged 4-11.

• Has experience or confidence supporting children with special educational needs.

• Is flexible, reliable and adaptable.

• Has a patient, caring and nurturing approach.

• Is able to follow instructions and adapt to the needs of individual schools.

• Has strong communication and classroom management skills.
