We are looking for a Homewares Buyer to shape and lead a distinctive home offer spanning textiles, d cor, soft furnishings, lighting and furniture. This is a role for someone who thrives on creative freedom, variety and ownership, and who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make ideas happen.This role is hands-on, fast-moving and ideal for a buyer who loves blending own-brand product development with carefully curated bought-in ranges - creating collections that feel eclectic, joyful and unmistakably unique.Duties and Responsibilities: Build exciting, commercially sound homewares ranges across multiple categories.Lead own-brand product development (textiles experience is a big plus), alongside off-the-shelf sourcing.Research trends, themes, materials and competitors to spot new opportunities.Present compelling range stories and proposals to senior stakeholders.Develop strong, collaborative relationships with global suppliers.Lead supplier meetings: develop product, negotiate costs, minimums and delivery timelines.Ensure quality, sustainability, ethical standards and compliance are always met.Own the critical path from concept to launch.Place orders in line with forecasts and performance targets.Maintain accurate product data, costings and system setup.Trade your ranges actively - analysing performance, reacting quickly and maximising opportunity. Skills and Knowledge At least 3 years'' experience in buying within homewares, fashion or a related consumer product category.Proven
