Teaching Assistant - Ealing

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team for a September 2026 start. The Role
You will work alongside teachers and the wider support team to support students across the classroom. You will assist with lesson activities, help maintain a positive learning environment, and provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance. This is a full-time position working 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
* Assisting with classroom behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
* Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning materials
* Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence in learning

Requirements:
* Previous UK-based secondary school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
* Experience supporting young people in a classroom setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, patient and supportive attitude
* A genuine passion for supporting students'' education and development
