A leading and well-established M&E subcontractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their Midlands-based team on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in both pre-construction and project delivery to support the successful mobilisation and execution of major construction projects across the region.

Working closely with senior management, design teams, commercial teams and site delivery personnel, the successful Electrical Project Manager will play a key role in driving projects from pre-construction through to site setup and delivery.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical packages from pre-construction through to delivery.
• Overseeing procurement activities to ensure materials and equipment are secured in line with project programmes.
• Coordinating and managing the design process with consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting project mobilisation and site setup activities.
• Working closely with site teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction to delivery.
• Reviewing project specifications, drawings and technical submissions.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Attending client, design and project meetings.
• Supporting programme management and ensuring key project milestones are achieved.
• Providing technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

The successful Electrical Project Manager will have:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E or Building Services sector.
• Strong experience of both pre-construction and project delivery.
• A solid understanding of procurement management and supply chain coordination.
• Experience managing electrical design processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively from an office environment whilst supporting site teams as required.
• Strong commercial awareness and project planning capabilities.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications.
