Salary

• -13.75-per hour
• Full time is contracted to 163 hours per month, any hours completed over 163 will be paid time and a quarter.
• Sleep shifts are -70

Job Purpose

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our children''s residential home. You will help provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people while leading shifts and supporting the staff team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
• Build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Support young people with their daily routines, education, and personal development.
• Ensure care plans are followed and records are kept up to date.
• Provide guidance and support to Residential Care Workers.
• Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times.
• Work closely with managers, families, and other professionals.
• Support staff development through coaching and supervision.

What We''re Looking For

• A NVQ Level 3 for children and young people-(Essential)
• Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting (2 years minimum)-
• Previous experience in a senior or leadership role (Essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive role model with a passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
• A flexible approach to shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence (Desireable)
