EMC Project Engineer Team Lead

You will lead delivery across complex electromagnetic compatibility work spanning requirements, design and proving, with the opportunity to shape how engineering teams deliver high integrity technical outcomes across multiple programmes.

What you will need
-

• British citizen with ability to undergo BPSS and be eligible for SC clearance.
• Strong, demonstrable experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) engineering.
• Background in electrical, electronic or electromagnetic engineering disciplines.
• Experience delivering engineering activities in structured project or programme environments.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate technical teams across complex engineering work.

Salary and rewards

• Up to -65,000
• Bonus up to 21% of base salary.
• Pension contribution up to 14% total combined.

What you will work on
-

• Leading EMC focused engineering activities across multiple concurrent programmes.
• Coordinating requirements, design assurance and electromagnetic proving activities.
• Supporting development and application of advanced and digital testing approaches.
• Acting as the link between technical delivery teams and wider project leadership.
• Helping define and improve EMC strategies and engineering approaches across projects.

Skills and experience
-

• Strong hands-on EMC engineering background in complex technical environments.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional engineering activity.
• Experience managing delivery across time, cost and quality constraints.
• Clear communication skills with ability to influence technical stakeholders.
• Experience in defence, aerospace or similarly regulated engineering environments.
• Strong people leadership mindset with focus on development and mentoring.

Where you will work

Based in Bristol with a hybrid arrangement of 2 to 3 days per week on site. Some flexibility is supported depending on programme needs and workload classification.
