Job Overview Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? A well-established building contractor based in Ipswich is seeking a talented individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be based out of their Head Office in Ipswich. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial management of construction projects. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts. Procure subcontractor packages and materials, ensuring best value for the company. Provide accurate cost advice and commercial support to the project team. Manage variations, claims, and final accounts. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field. 5 years expereince in a similar role. Commercial build experience. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in IT and industry-specific software. Chartered status (MRICS) desirable but not essential.
