Quantity Surveyor for main contractor based in Suffolk with projects across industrial, education and leisureAbout the role of Quantity SurveyorYour role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work on the above names projects up to 5m as the stand alone surveyor with support from your Commercial manager. Projects all within a reasonable commute of the companies office near Bury St Edmunds.You will be responsible for but not limited to; Managing packages from procurement through to final accounting. Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, reviewing drawings and working collaboratively with the external clients.Requirements for Quantity SurveyorThe company are looking for a candidate who can come in and hit the ground running, who is happy working in a small business from the office with site visits.You will ideally have:Degree in a construction related subjectMinimum of 5 years experience on projectsCompetent in managing subcontractor packages and paymentsThe company:The company are a regional main contractor work on new build residential, high end and heritage refurbishment and education projects.
