Technical Sales Manager
We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. The company is a worldwide designer, manufacturer of specialist engineering equipment used in a wide range of applications including oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical ad this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful organisation. Based in their purpose built premises in Hinckley, Leicestershire, the role will involve managing the customer relationship and meeting customer expectations all the way from initial enquiry through to quotation and order receipt. The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing existing customer relationships and actively identifying business development opportunities with both new and existing clients. They will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and deal with the process from enquiry through to customer quote utilising the in-house software, price list and quoting support tools. The role will also include taking an active role in developing the sales budget delivering financial targets. The main duties will include the following: - Working with Managing Director to prepare yearly sales budget and revisit/reassess quarterly. Ensuring actual sales performance meets or exceeds budget.
