Legal Assistant - Residential Conveyancing

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

We are recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Residential Conveyancing team in Selby.

This opportunity would suit someone with previous legal or conveyancing experience, a Law graduate looking to start their career, or an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in the legal sector.

The Role

• Providing administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team
• Preparing legal documents and correspondence
• Managing client files and updating records
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
• Handling enquiries via telephone and email
• Supporting transactions from instruction through to completion

About You

• Previous legal, conveyancing or administrative experience would be advantageous
• Law graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
